Thermal Conductivity Converter
Convert between W/(m•K) and BTU/(hr•ft•°F).
Density Converter
Convert g/cm³ (or tonne/m³) to lb/in³.
Test Temperature Converter
Convert test temperatures between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
Hardness Conversion Standard Reference & Integrity Guardrail
Mat Grades strictly enforces metallurgical integrity by preventing mathematical or linear conversions between incompatible hardness scales (e.g. Rockwell B vs Rockwell C vs Brinell). Indentation hardness reflects elastic recovery, indenter geometry, and strain hardening.
Arbitrary linear hardness conversion is prohibited by engineering data governance. Hardness conversions require empirical material-specific correlation tables (ASTM E140 / ISO 18265).
For safe conversions across scales, refer directly to ASTM E140 (Standard Hardness Conversion Tables for Metals) and ISO 18265 empirical tables specific to the alloy family and heat treatment.
